Greengage Mobile, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of software that focuses on enabling and rewarding positive environmental, wellness, and community behaviours, raised $1m in funding.
Backers included the Investment Accelerator Fund (IAF), the RBC Generator Fund, and investors from Waterloo-based Golden Triangle AngelNet (GTAN).
The company intends to use the funds to roll out additional features on the mobile app, and the web-based management platform.
Founded in 2010 and led by CEO Lindsey Goodchild, Greengage Mobile provides for companies, not-for-profits, and governments with a web and mobile software platform that engages and drives adoption of health and wellness, community, and green actions on a large scale by rewarding positive behavioral changes. Its management and analytics platform provides administrators with the ability to establish and monitor specific metrics, with data that supports program enhancements and reporting.
Over the past 12 months, the solution has been used by several finance, accounting, manufacturing, and higher education organizations.
