Eximia Raises €211K in Funding

Eximia, a Cagliari, Italy-based RFId company, raised €211k in funding.

Alessandro Vannucci’s iDooo ICT Investments, an ICT angel investor, made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to expand internationally.

Founded in 2003 and led by CEO Mario Di Floriano, Eximia provides products, develops applications and solutions, based on RFId technologies to companies that need a more efficient management of security systems, anti-counterfeiting, supply chain, payments/transactions, asset control, access control and tracking of goods, vehicles and people.
Customers listed in the website include San Paolo Intesa, Unicredit, SI Services, A.C. Milan, ABB Italy, British Telecom/I-Net, ACR Canton Ticino, World Business Forum, ABI Lab, ESRI, among others.

As a part of the deal, Eximia will acquire Pixope, a suite of 3D moduls for advanced training of process industry operators. The company will develop the moduls via its subsidiary Virthualis.
