elevate Digital Raises $1.5M in Series A Funding

elevate Digital, a Chicago, IL-based interactive technology company, raised $1.5m in Series A funding.

The backer was Partners Path Investments.

The company intends to use the funds for product development and continued geographic expansion with deployments expected in 30 markets by the end of 2014.

Founded in 2011 by George Burciaga, CEO, elevate Digital provides a street-level digital interactive platform that enables advertisers to activate their brands and connect with customers.
Available through interactive digital displays, the company’s solution combines interactive software applications and connective advertising with social and mobile integration, enabling advertisers to achieve higher levels of engagement and enhance the customer experience. It has also developed applications that provide user data and metrics, allowing advertisers to easily measure campaign performance.
To date, elevate has deployed more than 70 screens across the city of Chicago also establishing partnerships with organizations such as Groupon, The Tribune Company and World Business Chicago, among others.

In May 2012, the company had raised an initial $2.7m tranche of funding. It now plans to complete the Series A round before year end.
