Shutl, a London, UK-based same-day delivery service, has been acquired by eBay (EBAY).
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Led by Tom Allason, Founder and CEO, Shutl is a provider of same-day delivery solutions for retailers. Its technology connects users with a network of local same-day carriers to provide a fast delivery service.
Following the deal, Shutl will continue to serve retail partners in the UK and the US, speeding up national and international roll-outs and increasing investment in new product development.
The company was backed by Hummingbird Ventures, UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund, e.ventures and Notion Capital in the following rounds:
