According to AllThingsD, Dollar Shave Club, a Los Angeles-based men’s product delivery startup, raised $12m in Series B funding.
Backers included Venrock, Comcast Ventures, New World Ventures, and Battery Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its product portfolio.
Led by CEO Michael Dubin, Dollar Shave Club currently offers razors, shaving cream and moist buttwipes. The company now aims to expand to more than a dozen different men’s grooming products.
It has raised over $20m in funding and currently serves over 330,000 subscribing customers.
