DeliRadio, an Emeryville, CA-based music startup, raised $9.35m in funding.
Backers included Javelin Venture Partners and Lead Edge Ventures‘ Scott Booth.
The company intends to use the funds to hire engineers and grow their infrastructure.
Led by CEO Wayne Skeen, DeliRadio provides a streaming radio platform for touring artists (clubs and promoters) to promote their concerts and listeners worldwide to stream their local music scene. The platform’s DeliRadio Concert Network transforms venues and festivals lineups into streaming radio stations.
The company has just released an API and is hiring developers (read here).
