CoolaData Closes $7.5m Series A Funding

CoolaData, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of Big Data Analytics as a Service, closed a $7.5m Series A funding.

Backers included Greylock IL and Carmel Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Yoram Snir, Partner at Greylock IL and Avi Zeevi, General Partner and Co-Founder of Carmel Ventures, joined the company’s board of directors.

Co-founded by Tomer Ben Moshe and Guy Greenberg, CoolaData provides unified behavioral analytics solutions for online companies to improve overall customer lifecycle management.
The company’s service, which is in beta with several eCommerce, gaming and mobile customers, will be generally available in the first quarter of 2014.
