BetterDoctor Raises $2.6M in Seed Funding

BetterDoctor, a San Francisco, CA-based platform to help users find doctors, raised $2.6m in seed funding.

The round was led by SoftTechVC and Burrill & Co., with participation from 500 Startups. In conjunction with the funding, Jeff Clavier of SoftTechVC and Dirk Lammerts of Burrill & Co., will be joining BetterDoctor’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the team.

Founded by CEO Ari Tulla and CTO Tapio Tolvanen, BetterDoctor provides users with a web platform and mobile apps to find and book appointments with doctors and specialists (primary care doctors, pediatricians, dentists, eye doctors) in their location and insurance network.
