BERG Cloud Raises $1.3M in Funding

BERG Cloud, a London, UK-based platform for connected devices, raised $1.3m in funding.

Investors included Connect Ventures, Initial Capital and Index Ventures.

Led by Matt Webb, CEO, BERG Cloud provides a complete suite of integrated hardware and services for the development of web-connected products. It allows individual makers, colleges and campuses, and established product companies to experiment and develop products and to outsource infrastructure when in production, reducing the cost of invention and increasing speed to market.
BERG Cloud is the cloud-based “Platform as a Service” (PaaS) behind Little Printer. It allows users to integrate it into their products using BERG Cloud Devshields, the company’s custom-designed prototyping hardware.
