Unmetric Raises $5.5M in Series B Funding

Unmetric, a NYC-based provider of social media intelligence solutions, raised $5.5m in Series B funding.

The round was led by JAFCO Asia (Singapore), with participation from Nexus Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, JAFCO partner Murli Ravi will join Unmetric’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its sales and development efforts.

Co-founded in 2011 by Lakshmanan Narayan (CEO) Krishnasami Kumar (Head of Product) and Joseph Varghese (Head of Technology), Unmetric collects data around social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest and provides business intelligence on how their competitors’ advertising campaigns or customer service efforts are traking.
Customers include Samsung, Subway, American Airlines, Heineken, Cisco and Toyota, among others.
