Space‐Time Insight Raises $20M in Series C Financing

Space‐Time Insight, a San Mateo, CA-based provider of situational intelligence solutions, raised $20m in Series C financing.

Backers included Zouk Capital, which joined current investors Opus Capital Ventures, EnerTech Capital, and Novus Energy Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Samer Salty, CEO at Zouk Capital, will join Space-Time Insight’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue its expansion in the US, Europe and Asia, while increasing its product offerings for industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas and Transportation.

Led by CEO Rob Schilling, Space-Time Insight provides software that enables customers (such as managers of traditional transmission, communications and transportation networks, Smart Grids and Cities) to visualize and analyze massive volumes of diverse real-time and historical data to reduce risk, improve service reliability and efficiency, and reduce costs.
Customers include Hydro One, Southern California Edison, the California ISO, Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), and a global delivery services company, among others.
