Physicians Endoscopy, LLC, a Jamison, Pennsylvania-based developer and manager of freestanding, single-specialty endoscopic Ambulatory Surgery Centers in partnership with practicing physicians and hospitals, completed a significant equity investment from Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC.
Following the investment, of undisclosed, amount, CEO Barry Tanner and his executive management team will retain significant ownership of – and will continue to manage – the company in partnership with Pamlico Capital.
Founded in 1998, Physicians Endoscopy partners with physicians and provides a suite of billing and management services. The company typically owns a significant minority interest in each of its partner centers, which are located throughout the United States.
It currently owns and manages 29 facilities across the United States, in partnership with over 300 gastroenterologists and eight hospitals. Additional centers are expected to open within the next 12 months.
