Love Iced Cocktails Wins £25K Prize of RBS EnterprisingU

LIC, short for Love Iced Cocktails, won the £25k top prize of RBS EnterprisingU, a nationwide university business plan competition supported by Find Invest Grow (FIG) and Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS).

Founded by Imperial College London and University of Nottingham graduates Noah Geeves and Harry Simpson, LIC makes high-abv cocktail-flavoured iced popsicles, which can be transported in liquid form and frozen in any domestic freezer.

The prize will be spent on marketing and filing a patent for their formulation.

PetShopBowl, a home delivery pet food subscription service, took the second place, winning £10,000. The Tab, a university student media network, took the third place, winning £5,000.

Other finalists included Bio-bean, a green energy company turning waste coffee grounds into biofuel, Project Policy a search engine for the world’s socio-economic data and My next Tattoo, an online tattoo visualisation tool.
