KeyLemon Closes $1.5M Series A Funding

KeyLemon, a Martigny, Switzerland-based developer of face recognition software, closed a $1.5m Series A funding.

The round was led by Debiopharm Investment, a unit of the Debiopharm Group, and Swisscom Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow and develop new technologies as well as customer solutions.

Founded in 2008 and led by Gilles Florey, CEO, KeyLemon provides face and speaker recognition solutions for authentication purposes. The company offers both embedded and cloud based solutions with partnerships with blue chip technology companies across a wide range of use-cases and sectors.
The company is a spin-off of the Idiap Research Institute.
