Jawbone Raises $113M in Financing

According to Dan Primack/Fortune (read the report here), Jawbone, a San Francisco, CA-based maker of d wearable technology and audio devices, raised a total of $113m in financing.

It included:
– $20m in equity funding from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, Khosla Ventures and Sequoia Capital.
– $93m in debt financing from Silver Lake, Fortress Investment Group, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo.

Led by Hosain Rahman, founder and CEO, Jawbone makes wearable technology and audio devices. It has developed the NoiseAssassin®, a noise-eliminating technology, and created the Jawbone ERA and ICON Bluetooth® headsets and JAMBOX wireless speaker and speakerphone.
