GirlsAskGuys.com Raises $1M in Funding

GirlsAskGuys.com, an online community that fosters open dialogue between young men and women, has raised $1m in funding.

The round was led by O’Brien Capital led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Bob O’Brien, founder of O’Brien Capital and Jim McKelvey, co-founder of Square, joined GirlsAskGuys.com’s advisory board.

The company, which currently has 12 team members across three continents, plans to increase its staffing levels as the business expands.

Founded in 2008 by Tolga Tanriseven, GirlsAskGuys.com is an online community where members gain insights into the workings of the
opposite sex through an interactive question and answer exchange.
It has a sister site, KizlarSoruyor.com, which is based in Turkey.
