Forest Chemical Group, an Alicante, Spain-based chemical company, raised €2m from Caixa Capital Risc.
The company intends to use the capital, made available via Caixa Innvierte Industria, to continue to grow in Spain and expand internationally.
Founded in 2009 and led by Pedro Fernández and Sergio Vega, Forest Chemical Group specializes in manufacturing and selling of hot melt adhesive.
The company, which employs 12 people, is also backed by Institut Valencià de Finances (IVF).
It had a turnover of €1,5m in 2012.
