edjing, a Paris, France-based provider of a DJ app, raised $2.5m in funding.
The round was led by Entrepreneur Venture, with participation from Daniel Marhely (Deezer founder), who also joined edjing’s Advisory Board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate international development, to diversify products, developing new verticals within the music app category.
Founded in 2009 by Jean-Baptiste Hironde (CEO) and Nicolas Dupré, edjing is a multiplatform track-mixing application. It has registered more than 3,5 million downloads and 900 000 members in more than 180 countries on iPhone, iPad and Android.
