Blue Jeans Network Raises $50M in Funding

Blue Jeans Network, a Mountain View, California-based provider of interoperable video collaboration services, secured $50m in funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures with participation from existing investors Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates and Norwest Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate domestic and global expansion with new offices in San Francisco and new operations in Europe and Australia, as well as to support ongoing product innovation.

Led by Krish Ramakrishnan, co-founder and CEO, Blue Jeans Network provides a cloud-based conferencing service that allows individuals and employees throughout an enterprise to interact more effectively with each other, and with their customers, partners, suppliers, family, and friends.
