Adventoris, a Huddersfield, UK-based based software development company, raised £600k in funding.
Participants in the investment (which was closed in August 2013) included the Angel CoFund, Peter Armitage, a Partner at Private Equity firm Key Capital Partners, and a number of institutional and private investors.
The company is using the funds to launch its software in the UK.
Founded in 2012 by CEO James Clarkson, and COO Tim Longton, Adventoris has developed an on-line cloud-based enterprise software called SwiftCloud. The platform, which will be delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS), will be launched in November and accessed by users on tablet and smart phone devices via an app-based front end.
