Vee24, a Boston, Massachusetts-based provider of live help solutions to brands, closed a $5.5m Series A financing.
The round was led by Data Point Capital along with Point Judith Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to grow in the U.S., where it has just moved its headquarters, and overseas. To date, Vee24 has been based in Manchester, England, where it mantains European operations.
Founded by Andy Henshaw (Chief Product Officer and President of Europe) and Nigel Thomas and led by James Keller, CEO, Vee24 provides web-based customer engagement solutions. Its Live Help is used by brands to deliver customer experience on the web, in-stores, and through mobile devices via voice, video, text, and co-browsing.
Current customers include Audi, British Gas, DFS, Ford, Isabella Oliver, Land Rover, Lexus, L’Oreal, Regus, Schuh, Thomson, and Vodafone.
