Vastrm Fashion Raises $1M in Seed Funding

Vastrm Fashion, a Burlingame, CA-based ecommerce company focused on made-to-order polo shirts, raised $1m in seed funding.

According to Dan Primack (Fortune), backers included Y Combinator, Columbus Nova Technology Partners, Quest Venture Partners, SV Angels, Will Smith, Ignition Partners, Andreessen Horowitz Seed Fund, General Catalyst Partners and Start Fund.

Founded by Jonathan Tang and accelerated in YC in Summer 2012, Vastrm aims to solve the problem of mass produced one-size, one-style shirts that don’t fit well.
The company crafs polo shirts using fine fabrics and materials and sells them exclusively through the Vastrm website (for $69/$89).
