StyleSeek Raises $750K in Seed Funding

StyleSeek, a Chicago, IL-based personalized style discovery site, raised $750k in seed funding.

According to TechCrunch, Backers included Cedar St Capital, Jumpstart Capital, Padova Investments, Trebuchet Investments, and angels Jeff Cantalupo, Dave Hoover, Hunter Hillenmeyer, Sam Guren, and Owen Shapiro.

Co-founded in 2011 by Tyler Spalding and Chris Walti StyleSeek operates a curated shopping site based on the personal style of users. The company’s platform integrates recommendation technologies, lifestyle blogs, and e-commerce to create a unique “StyleDNA”. Users can also find inspiration by using the StyleDNA of style icons and influencers.
StyleSeek’s core technology can be applied to a variety of lifestyle verticals including men’s/women’s apparel, home furnishings, hospitality, travel, and automotive.
