Get Real Health, a Rockville, Maryland, USA-based global patient engagement software company, received an investment from TELUS Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of new features and functionality of InstantPHR, build its customer support capability, expand its marketing and sales efforts, form new strategic alliances.
Led by Mark Heaney, CEO and founding partner, Get Real Health specializes in personal health record (PHR) technology, powered by a software platform called InstantPHR, an electronic toolbox for creating and customizing personal health applications.
In addition to InstantPHR, Get Real Health offers solutions and custom services for a wide range of healthcare organizations.
