LegalReach, a San Francisco, CA-based social network for attorneys, raised $900k in funding, VentureBeat reported.
Backers included Scott Banister and Naval Ravikant.
Led by Avlok Kohli, Founder/CEO, and Matt Martin, Head of product, LegalReach connects individuals and corporations with local attorneys for legal counsel. Following a request, the attorney will be notified by email and will then screen clients via email or via LinkedIn. They can show their interest or pass on the request. The requestor then reviews the credentials of interested attorneys and picks who to hire.
