Engagor Raises $2.6M in Series A Funding

Engagor, a Ghent, Belgium, and San Francisco, California-based comprehensive platform for real-time customer engagement, social media monitoring and analytics, raised $2.6m in a Series A funding.

The round was led by Hummingbird Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand in the USA. To this end, Steven Reading, former co-founder of Dogster, will join the  new San Francisco office as VP of North America Sales.

Folke Lemaitre, founder and CEO, Engagor provides brands and enterprises with a real-time platform to monitor and analyze their social channels in order to engage with customers. It monitors sources across the social Web to track relevant conversations about brands, products, competitors and industries. A new team performance metrics will provide insight into internal and external team performance.
The analytics give reports on the performance of a company’s online reputation, customer engagement, social campaigns, and social profiles.
Customers include PepsiCo, Volvo, McDonald’s and IKEA, among others.
