Airwoot, a New Delhi, India-based developer of a platform to help brands provide customer support on social media, raised an undisclosed amount of funding.
The round was led by Kae Capital, with participation from Rajan Anandan (Google India managing director), Sasha Mirchandani, Sunil Kalra and Samir Sood. Among the investors, the company’s web site also lists The Morpheus.
Led by Saurabh Arora, Prabhat Saraswat and Achal Aggarwal, Airwoot provides a “smart support helpdesk”, which aims to enable brands to engage with their customers on social media. It identifies customers that need help and connects the brand with them in real-time to deliver a better customer support experience.
