Minetta Brook Raises $2M in Seed Funding

Minetta Brook, a Kirkland (Seattle), WA-based Big Data Intelligence startup, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by the TiE Angel Group Seattle and Naya Ventures. Keiretsu Forum Northwest had led a convertible note round in February. In conjunction with the funding, Gowri Shankar, Venture Partner at Naya Ventures, will join the board as an observer.

Co-founded in 2011 by Deepak Bharadwaj, CEO, and Prabhu Venkatesh, Minetta Brook builds software that spans unstructured and structured data to enable discovery of hyper-relevant information from streaming content.
The company, which is now emerging from two years of development, is preparing to transition from beta to revenue mode and will be shortly announcing their first product.
Minetta Brook also has an office in the greater New York area.
