Crowdly Raises $1.2M in Seed Funding

Crowdly, a Boston, MA-based Facebook Advocate Platform, raised more than $1.2m in seed funding.

Backers included Launchpad Venture Group, New York Angels, Laconia Ventures and some individual investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand product, sales and marketing efforts.

Led by Dan Sullivan, founder and CEO, Crowdly helps brands and agencies to discover, engage, and motivate advocates on their Facebook brand communities.
The platform identifies and prioritizes advocates on Facebook based on their meaningful interactions with the brand and provides private conversations and exclusive offers to motivate them into action, while letting fans create identity and status within the Facebook brand community. It also shows brands the lifetime influence of their top fans and a complete history of fans’ interactions over time.
