Bare Snacks, a Walnut, CA and Omak, WA-based healthy snack brand, closed a $9.25m equity financing.
The round was led by NGEN Partners, with participation from Avrio Capital and Silas Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand capacity, add to the management team, build the brand, and fund working capital.
Led by Brad Oberwager, CEO Bare Snacks makes natural and organic bare fruit apple chips and fruit snacks. According to the company, the products are made from real fruit (100%), are baked and never fried, and use only ingredients as close to nature as possible.
Bare Snacks and its top line of chips are available at Whole Foods, Safeway, Publix, Wegman’s, Costco, Amazon.com, and other local independent grocery stores.
