Alkemy digital_enabler Buys Seolab

According to a post by Gianluca Dettori (DPixel), Seolab, a Turin, Italy-based social media marketing agency, has been acquired by Alkemy digital_enabler.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed but it is known that Alkemy acquired a 65% stake of Seolab by Digital Investments (DPixel) and Giulio Valiante’s Mailclick. As a result of the deal, Dettori left the board of the company.

Founded in 2007 by Luca Russo and Giuseppe Tempio, Seolab currently has 20 employees, a turnover of over €3m and clients including Seat, Feltrinelli, Kimberly Clark and Bakeca, among others.

Led by Riccardo Lorenzini and Duccio Vitali, Alkemy, Digital Enabler provides companies in need to digitalize their strategies with solutions leveraging its capabilities in Digital Advisory, eCommerce, Performance, Agency, Social Media, Digital PR, Mobile, Measurement.

Following the transaction, Russo, Tempio and Claudio Grossano will join the management team of Alkemy. The aggregate company has now a turnover of about €13m and 70 employees.
