Addvocate Closes $2M Series A Funding

Addvocate, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform that helps brands deliver consistent messages through their employees’ social voices, closed a $2m Series A funding.

The round was led by Rogers Venture Partners, with participation from angel investor Karen Riley.

Led by founder and CEO Marcus Nelson and Chief Operations Officer Piers Cooper, Addvocate allows brands to engage fans and customers with original content distributed by their employees, the people their customers know and trust. To this end, it provides companies with cloud-based tools to identify, measure and optimize the social voices of those employees. They can coordinate social media accounts, identify internal experts who can solve customers’ problems, and distribute engaging content.
