WeStudy.In, a Moscow-based platform that support Russian students in studying at schools abroad, raised $300k in funding.
The backer was Mikhail Frolkin, the managing partner of HeadHunter.
Founded earlier in 2013 by Sasha Olenina, WeStudy.In focuses on connecting students with experts who know the admissions process at different Western universities in the U.S., Europe, or Australia.
According to Venture Beat, after finishing the site for Russian-language applicants, the company will launch in Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
