SoloStocks Raises €1.5M in Funding

SoloStocks, a Barcelona, Spain-based marketplace for businesses and professionals, raised €1,5m in funding.

Backers included Grupo Intercom, Spanish family offices, business angels, and a new American shareholder.

The company intends to use the funds to consolidate its presence in México and Brazil.

Founded in 1999 and led by Luís Carbajo, SoloStocks is a B2B portal for sales and purchases between companies and professionals. For buyers, the platform offers thousands of products and companies in 35 different business sectors. For sellers, SoloStocks represents a marketing tool which allows them to be visibile and indexed on major search engines.

SoloStocks is currently present in eleven countries including Germany, Spain France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, México and Morocco. It has more than 1 million subscribers among Spanish companies which sells more than 250 million products.
