Scribble Technologies Inc., a provider of real-time engagement management solutions, raised $8m in new financing.
The round was led by Georgian Partners with participation from Export Development Canada, Summerhill Venture Partners and Rogers Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for growth in the enterprise market, global expansion, and to continue to develop its solutions.
Founded in 2008 by CEO Michael De Monte and Jonathan Keebler Scribble offers real-time engagement management solutions that allows brands and media companies to deliver relevant content. Its ScribbleLive has customers including CNN, the Associated Press, Reuters, The Canadian Press, CBC, Rogers, Samsung, ESPN and others. The company recently launched ScribbleMarket, a content syndication solution that enables the creation and distribution of real-time rich content from authoritative brands and media companies.
