Replicon, a Calgary, Alberta, Canada- and San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of software to track employee time and expenses, raised $20m in a Series A funding.
The round was led by Emergence Capital Partners and The Social+Capital Partnership.
The company intends to use the funds to continue the development of its direct sales channel and to extend its reach internationally into Europe and APAC.
Co-founded in 1996 by Co-CEOs Raj Narayanaswamy and Lakshmi Raj, Replicon provides cloud-based time tracking applications for companies to manage workforce attendance, projects, professional services organizations, and shared services resources.
Customers include more than 7,800 companies.
