RackWare, Santa Clara, California- and Wayne, Pennsylvania-based provider of cloud solutions, raised $3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund and Osage Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Gavin Christensen, managing director at Seed Fund and Nate Lentz, managing partner at Osage Venture Partners, joined RackWare’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Sash Sunkara, CEO, RackWare provides the RMM 2.0 software that enables users to build and leverage any type of cloud (public, private or hybrid) without requiring application or operational changes. The company also offers three supporting solutions: RackWare Automated Parking, Scaling and Bursting, RackWare Client On-Boarding and RackWare Disaster Recovery in the Cloud.
