NanoRacks Raises $2.6M in Series A Funding

NanoRacks, a Houston, Texas-based space-science startup, raised $2.6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Brussels, Belgium-based E-Merge, which committed approximately $1.5m in, with participation from individual backers from Texas and California.

Led by Jeffrey Manber, CEO and founder, NanoRacks provides hardware and services for the U.S. National Laboratory onboard the International Space Station. The company developed and has research platforms onboard the U.S. National Laboratory, which can house plug and play payloads and a family of other research facilities.
Customers include domestic and international educational institutions, research organizations and government organizations.
