Modus, a Washington, DC-based litigation discovery services provider, raised $10m in funding.
Backers included Harbert Management Corporation and Azalea Capital as well as CEO Abtin Buergari.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales nationwide and operations.
Led by Mr Buergari and Rick Hutchinson, COO, Modus provides customers with fixed fee managed services to execute the “discovery” phase in litigations. The company’s experts provide corporations and law firms with strategic and project advice on all aspects of eDiscovery including litigation readiness and preparedness, process/workflow strategy, data analytics, computer assisted or technology assisted review, budgeting, etc.
