Compass Quality Insight, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of quality assurance software, raised $2m in funding.
Backers included Bain Capital Ventures and XSeed Capital.
Founded in 2012 (as Nerati) by CEO Dan Steere, Jad Naous and Ramesh Chandra, Compass Quality Insight has just released Compass Profiler, a solution for software quality assurance to prioritize testing effort by identifying exactly what has changed in a web application, how it might interact with other parts of the software, and the location of potential testing gaps that may allow bugs to slip through.
The company has a team of 10 who are supported by Ben Nye of Bain Capital Ventures and Robert Siegel of XSeed Capital (board members).
