Circular Energy, an Austin, TX-based solar design and installation firm, raised $2.7M in Series A funding.
Backers included Dallas-based Cypress Capital and other private investors.
The company intends to use the funding, which is structured as part equity and part royalty debt, to expand geographically, to invest into back-office workflow automation and further develop its proprietary software solution, CURB, Inc.
Led by JC Shore, CEO, Circular Energy provides homeowners, businesses, national architects and commercial builders with alternative energy solutions to reduce costs and dependence on the grid.
