Cerus Endovascular Raises £1.5M in Funding

Cerus Endovascular Ltd, an Oxford, UK-based developer of a minimally invasive implantable medical device for treating intracranial aneurysms, raised £1.5m in funding.

Among the others, backers included New York City-based Mid Atlantic Bio Angels (MABA), which committed $500k (£325k), and the UK-based North West Fund for Biomedical, which invested £600k (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to initiate product development and finance in-depth clinical trials leading to CE marking approval.

Led by Todd Derbin, CEO, Cerus Endovascular is moving to Liverpool Science Park.
