Thumb Friendly, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of a mobile marketing platform for small and medium-sized businesses, closed an additional funding of undisclosed amount.
The company had raised a vc round in March 2013 (read here).
Backers included Joel Shapiro, Chief Executive Officer of Timbervest, LLC, and Jim Douglass, former CFO of CheckFree. Douglass will join Thumb Friendly’s board of directors, in conjunction with the funding.
The company intends to use the capital to further develop its platform, to establish patent protection for its innovations, and expand its sales and customer support efforts.
Led by Andrew Katz, Founder & CEO, Thumb Friendly provides small and medium-sized businesses with a mobile marketing solution to help them reach consumers through smart phones, iPads, and other mobiles devices. The company is a Google AdWords Certified Partner.
