Supply Vision, Inc., a Chicago, IL-based provider of cloud-based transportation solutions for logistics companies, raised $1.4m in funding.
The round was led by Hyde Park Angels and the Invest Illinois Venture Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its solutions.
Founded in August 2010 and led by Mike Powell, CEO, Supply Vision provides North American customers with cloud-based Software as a Service freight forwarding Transportation Management (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage the supply chain by enabling collaboration between shippers and logistics providers. The company’s portal, a network of partners and integrated resources is designed to enable transportation firms and their customers to exchange actionable information and streamline work flow.
