Postmaster Raises $600K in Seed Funding

Postmaster, an Austin, Texas-based small package shipping company, raised $600k in seed funding.

Backers included Capital Factory, Cloud Power and Zelkova Ventures as well as a consortium of angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its development team, build additional carrier integrations, and expand its core features and functionality.

founded in 2012 by Jesse Lovelace, CEO, Postmaster provides for SMBs and eCommerce companies with a cloud-based platform featuring real-time shipping cost prediction, routing and service level optimization, shipment tracking, reporting and auditing tools. It also offers an API, which is integrated with UPS, USPS, FedEx, Canada Post and Lonestar Overnight.

Ther company graduated from TechStars Cloud in 2013.
