PlaceIQ, a New York, NY-based provider of location intelligence solutions for marketers, raised $6.75m in Series B financing.
The round was led by U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), with participation from IA Ventures, Valhalla Partners, kbs+ Ventures, and other angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to develop additional solutions as well as hire for additional positions in sales, operations, marketing, and engineering (read here).

Working with agencies, brands, and channel partners, the company leverages proprietary big data science to aggregate and analyze amounts of location data from multiple sources and give marketers a deep understanding of consumer behavior. PlaceIQ has offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boulder, Colorado.
