Merchantry, a New York-based provider of online marketplace software, raised $7m in Series B financing.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its sales team (read here) and its client base throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Led by Rick Watson, CEO, Merchantry provides retailers with an eCommerce software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that allows retailers and media organizations to build online marketplaces.
It enables users to launch a marketplace, sell on it, and get new products onboard.
The company, which has a regional office in London, curently employs 110 people.
