MeeGenius, a Phoenix, Arizona-based digital platform for children’s education books, received an investment of undisclosed amount from Najafi Companies.
Following the transaction, Najafi, which also owns Chapitre eBooks, a digital French book platform, and 1K Studios, an innovative digital media company located in Burbank, Calif., will become a significant strategic shareholder in the company.
MeeGenius intends to use the proceeds from the investment to expand its offerings.
Launched in April 2010 by Wandy Yeap Hoh and David Park, MeeGenius offers a library of e-books focused on assisting the learning process of children and available for iOS devices, Android tablets and phones, and computers.
