Loco2 Raises £300K in Funding

Loco2, a London, UK-based online travel agent for booking European trains, raised £300k in funding.

Backers included Envestors, the subsidiary of Braveheart Investment Group plc, which sourced £185k from its network.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Jamie Andrews, Managing Director, Loco2 allows customers to search and book trains across Europe via proprietary software that offers single and multi-leg journeys through one interface.
Launched in April 2012, the company has contracts with two large European operators, SNCF and Deutsche Bahn, as well as partnerships with Seat61.com, a travel website, and the Guardian (Guardian Trains).
