Kinetic Social, a New York-based social media advertising technology company, raised $8m in an initial close of a Series A round of financing.
The round also includes a venture term debt facility, which was provided by Gibraltar Business Capital.
The equity was provided by Blue Chip Venture Company.
The company intends to use the funds technology extensions including its machine learning optimization engine, its cross-channel data trend and analytics engine, and its self-service client platform.
Led by Don Mathis , CEO and co-founder, and Carree L Syrek, Chief Strategy Officer, Kinetic Social provides Fortune 500 brands and agencies wih a platform for social, display and mobile advertising.
Its machine learning platform is built to integrate social, trend and other proprietary data to achieve cross-platform effectiveness. The company deploys a patent-pending statistical optimizer, anchored by advanced predictive modeling algorithms.
